For when the tool you pay for forces a detour.

Every operation has that one step somebody does by hand because the software cannot do it. When the detour happens every day, the cheaper answer is usually to build the tool around the process instead of the other way round.

In short

What it is
Software development for the specific process of your company, for when off-the-shelf software cannot keep up with the operation.
Who it is for
Teams already working around a generic tool with a manual step — the step somebody performs to cover what the tool does not do.
What it delivers
A system built around your process, with the rules and the names your company actually uses, wired into what already runs.
What it is not
Not an ERP off the shelf, not a customisation of somebody else's product, and not a fixed price or a fixed timeline: each scope comes out of looking at the operation.

When it is worth it

If the off-the-shelf tool works, use the off-the-shelf tool.

We will say that out loud, including when it costs us the project. Building is worth it when the generic tool makes your team take a manual detour every single day, when the workaround has become the process, or when the thing you need simply is not sold.

The clearest sign is when your people have become the integration layer: they copy, they paste, they reconcile, they re-check. That is not a job. That is a workaround with a salary.

What we build speaks your company's language: your names for things, your rules, your approval steps. Integration with your marketplaces, ERP, spreadsheets and customer service is part of the project, by the path each platform allows.

The signals

Four signs that the detour is the real cost.

There is a spreadsheet that exists only to fix the system.Somebody exports, corrects and re-imports. That spreadsheet is a specification.
New people are trained on the workaround, not the tool. When the onboarding document explains the detour, the detour is the process.
The same data is entered twice, on purpose. Not a mistake — the tool genuinely has no field for it.
A decision waits on one person who knows the trick. That is a single point of failure wearing a job title.

Working with us from abroad

We are a Brazilian team, and that is the point.

Navega is based in Caraguatatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. The team has spent more than ten years inside real e-commerce operations — the kind where somebody still reconciles payouts in a spreadsheet on Sunday night. That is where the work comes from, not from a framework.

We work remotely, in English or Portuguese, on Brasília time (UTC−3), which overlaps the working day in the Americas and the morning in Europe. All work is quoted and agreed before it starts.

One thing we will not hide

Navega is completing its company registration in Brazil, and until that is finished we cannot invoice or charge. That is why no page on this site has a pay button. Tell us about your operation and we will talk through scope; nothing is billed before there is an invoice to bill it with.

Talk to Navega

Is there a part of your operation that still depends on somebody pulling it together by hand?

Tell us which task your team repeats. We will say whether the answer is automation, an integration, a dashboard, custom software or a website — and if the answer is none of those, we will say that too.

We use your data only to answer this request, as described in our privacy policy (in Portuguese).

Frequently asked

What people ask before they get in touch.

When is custom worth it instead of off-the-shelf software?

When the ready-made tool forces your team into a manual detour every day. If the ready-made tool does the job, our recommendation is to keep it.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

There is no list price and no standard timeline. Scope, effort and price come out of looking at the operation first, once we understand the process and the systems involved.

Will it talk to what I already use?

Yes — integration with marketplaces, ERP, spreadsheets and customer service is part of the project, by the path each platform allows.
